    Quicktime next frame previous frame

I have a quicktime movie file(.mov), and would like to look through the frames one by one. Is there a free program that allows me to do this?

Don't laugh at me if I'm wrong, but if it's anything like a gif file I think you can just import it to Windows Movie Maker and when you manually drag the timeline it will show all the frames.
