    Flash Object (in movies/games)

ive noticed that when I was playing FancyPants Adventure, I can see little squares surrounding objects such as doors and springs. now it is happening to everything I play in swf format.

any ideas or advice to resolve this problem as its bothering me :P

Right click, and find the box labeled "Show redraw regions" or something along those lines.
Uncheck it, and it should be fine.

If the problem persists, try reinstalling the latest version of flash player.

I'd assume the flash window, but I'm not sure.

What version flash player do you have?

If it's anything below 9, update it to 9.

I'm fairly sure you have redraw regions turned on, and I don't remember how to turn em off.

    Okay, try this -

    Uninstall flash player 9
    Install flash player 8
Turn off redraw regions in 8 (Right click a flash object, you'll see it)
    Uninstall 8
    Reinstall 9

    Flash 8

It's a tad roundabout, but it should work.
('Show redraw regions' shows up in flash player 8, but not in 9, as far as I know.)

If this doesn't work, try contacting adobe about the problem, or check their customer service/FAQs

Dont follow Xenomorph911 latest suggestion its illogical. Getting 8 changing it and uninstalling there is no logic to it.

Well, I understand that, but I'm just thinking that maybe the 'show redraw regions' is stored in the browser itself, perhaps.

So, turning it off FROM flash 8 may turn it off in the browser, allowing 9 to work without showing the regions.

But, I don't know exactly how it works. If anyone has more knowledge on the problem, feel free to help.
