    Can someone post a link to a flash mx tut to make play buttons?
    Or can someone teach or tell me?

    It's all the same idea. Draw an object. Select it and press F8 to make it into a movie clip.

    Then, in it's AS, put

    Code:
    on (release) { play(); }

    Is the button on the stage and the only thing selected?

    Because you might be putting the code in the frame or something.

    Also make sure you put

    stop ();
    on the FRAME your button is on.

    I can make it do everything it's suppose ti di like change colors when it's clicked but it won;t play the video!
