    Whoops D:

I tried to fix my corrupt windows media player by reinstalling it via control panel's 'add/remove programs' and it removed every windows component on the list.

    That includes:

    IE
    Ms Paint
    Imaging
    Microsoft Photo Editor
    Sound Recorder
And some of the system tools

Is there anyway I could get this stuff back easily?
I searched google without result btw.

Well, you can get the media player here and sound recorder I'm not really sure but I think here?
I'm guaranteed for the media player but I'm not so sure for the Sound Recorder ()Download at your own risk!)
but sorry, I don't know about the others.

Yea. A lot of these are on the microsoft page I think.

And, is there an issue with your i386 or something? If you put in the windows disc, it should allow the programs to work...

With some browsing i found the following..

    MS Paint

    Dowload.com

When using download.com, search individual programmes. Not sure if they have it all but i know they have windows movie maker. - You may want to scan each programme you download as some may be infected with spyware.

I was wondering if there was a more efficient way, like an 'all in one installer', I don't have the XP cd because the computer is Media Center and I don't have that expansion D:

So I guess I will install them individually until they are complete

That's the only way I guess, buying xp again will cost a lot.

If it wasnt removed, use system restore? Then install the newest WMP and it should go over the old one and make it new :3

But if System restore is gone, meh, i dunno D:
