    Bypassing an internet timer

Anyone know a way to acces a dlink DIR-655 router, the pass is custom and my friend wants to take off the timer(or something, set by mom >:O) on it. Is there a way to bypass the pass/timer all together, or disable the timer remotely.

All of this made no sense to me.

The timer woul be something that gives your friend only a few hours on the net, no?
Easy way would be to look up hacking sites (Be careful of viruses) or to get a copy of the manual.

Other then that, i have no clue.

No it seems to cut off the internet at a certain time.

I think resetting the router to factory settings would fix that. Unplug it all, then hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then plug it all back in. You'll have to re-configure it though.

    Fucks me then.

You could go james bond on it, and plant an external antennae on it so you can then link it up to your 6 million dollar PC with 8 42" High definition plasma screens, only to find out it has a random shutdown timer on it.

But other then that, which is quite impossible, unless you wish to spend 6 million dollars and spend the next lifeitme paying back the loan, maybe get him to ask his mum to give him more time?
