    Flash Help

    K so I'm flashing my beginner animations and I added a menu at the start with an image behing it. It has play and scene select with this code:
    Code:
    on (release) {gotoAndPlay(FRAME NUMBER HERE);

    }
    and I also added a timeline blur to the background and I want it so that when I use the scene select the blur activates instead of skipping straight to the frame. Is that possible?

    You could make the first frame of your background have stop(); on the first frame, then at the end of the blur it would say _root.gotoAndPlay(sceneframe). Then, you just make your button say something like
    on(release) {
    _root.backgroundInstancename.play();
    }

    Uhh okay I changed it to that code but the blur is all in one stretched frame. Anyways it won't do anything so what do I do with the code that was there before.
