    Ionosphere

I need help getting a really basic definition of the ionosphere and how electromagnetic radiation is involved in it. I'm struggling with the Wikipedia definitions and other definitions I'm finding on the internet. Anyone ever done this in school before? Or just has a general idea of what the ionosphere is?

There's loads of pages explaining it.

I did say that I'd struggled with the definitions I was presented with on the internet... thanks anyway?

What the hell is wrong the the definition found on the Internet?

There's a paragraph on that site which explains what the Ionosphere is, and it couldn't really be any simpler.

Maybe this wasn't the smartest thing I've ever posted, about not liking the definitions on the internet. But if you're not going to actually help... why post at all? This is the help center and I asked for a specific thing. If you don't have an answer to what I am asking, don't post?

    Amen to that

Perhaps you could explain us what's the problem with the definitions found on "The Internet" and it'd be easier to help you.

Maybe I should have, however, that doesn't mean that people should be replying to posts in the help center if they aren't actually going to attempt to help the person in the first place. And no, giving me links to sites on the internet wasn't helping. I had specified that I didn't like the definitions I had found on the internet in my first post.

I now know what the ionosphere is and help is no longer needed. I'm going to ask for a lock.
