    Flashing

So I want to be able to flash animations together, but I really don't know what program is best for it, I realize these programs can run pretty pricey but I'm prepared to fork up some dough for them. Please tell me what program I should use.

Yeah I've got that, but whenever I look stuff up on it, there's all different types of flash that Adobe makes, I just don't want to spend a shitload of money and get the wrong thing

I think he's asking for our opinion...

Get Flash 8, perfect for what you want to do.

Flash 8 or CS3. I wouldn't advise CS4 just yet. Besides the price there's still issues with it.

You're buying Flash just for Pivot editing? Seriously, just use WMM or a gif based editing program.

If you've got your heart set on Flash, I'd recommend Flash 8, if you can prove you're a student, you can get it waaaay cheaper than the standard edition (For about 80 you get the whole Macromedia Studio range, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Captivate).

I heard that Macromedia removed the trial for Flash 8, however.

EDIT// I meant Contribute instead of Captivate...
