    Cord Issues

So I got a new laptop adaptor, but my laptop makes a ticking noise when it's plugged in. So does my mother's. Any suggestions? The specs for the cords are pretty much identical and it definitely plugs in correctly, it's just ticking. Oh, and my laptop has died while I've been plugged in.

Edit: It doesn't hold charge. I'm using my mother's cord for a while now I suppose.

    :/

Maybe some kind of factory defect?
My mom's computer cord was brand new, but it didn't work.

By thinking of the fact that this happened twice in a row, I realize it must be something with your laptop or the electricity of your house.

Same thing happened to mine. I got a new cord for it, that fucked up, got another and even that fucked up. Like, while it was plugged in the laptop could still die. Anyways, I'm thinking it's not actually a cord problem, maybe the laptop itself is the problem.

Have you turned the volume down? Have you tried a different adapter on your laptop? Have you used the same adapter on a different laptop? Use this to see if it is the laptop's problem or your adapter's problem.

My mother's laptop does the same thing. The guy who we bought it off sent another one (good cunt) and it does the same thing. Getting to a point where it pisses me off ay.
