    Microphone/Audio Recording Equipment

Hey guys, anyone reccomend any good mics? It's for voice recording and I'd like high quality, clear sound, has anyone had personal experience with stuff like this and can give an experienced opinion?

I don't have a very good mic, but I'll tell you this, you definietly get what you pay for in the "microphone industry".

USB Logitech desktop microphone, definitely. Perfect for recording voice, as it's a dynamic microphone. Dynamic microphones are suited for vocals so logically they're the best for voice recording. No arsing around with mixers/preamps either, just connects straight to the pc. 30 quid usually.

Here's my advice, do not go for headsets. They tend to cost more, and they don't have as good of quality, they are more convenient for gaming.

My Labtec mic was around $20 at a radio shack / circuit city. The quality is superb considering the money I paid.

Looks like crap compared to those fancy ones, but it's definitely a good value.
