Graphics Card ... help me out

I think I want to upgrade my PC's graphic card but i'm not sure how. I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00 GHz 2.00 GHz processor, Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family (Display Adapter), running Vista 32-bit OS, around 400GB of free space, and 4GB of memory RAM. It just has a shit graphics card, and I know it can't really support any newish game. I'm not really sure where to start, so can someone help me out?

E: And actually, in the Device Manager, under Processors, it shows two identical processors (Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00 GHz). Is that normal, or are they both used for different things? jw

It shows 2 because you have a dual core.

Dell have custom sized motherboards, so finding parts that will fit is very hard. Chances are you wont be able to buy an up to date card because of the size.

A Nvidia 8000 series or a ATI 4000 series would both be good options.

Are any of those two going to be able to play more up to date games? Like maybe Assassin's Creed, TF2 and stuff like that? Also, I'm trying to stay below $100 in price, if possible. It's either this or buying an Xbox, which I can't see happening lol

an 8800 gt it's the best price/performance video card you can get... I bought mine for around 105 dollars though, around a year and a half ago.

How can I find which graphic cards will fit or work with my computer? I'm pretty sure that there are two Dell Inspiron 530's (the slim and the regular), and I don't have the slim.
