    Original Fallout graphic help

So I got the Fallout Trilogy, but when I play any of the games (minus Tactics) there's an issue with the colors where certain (usually shaded) areas appear as having glitchy colors instead of what they actually should be (dots of bright green, red, purple etc) in everything (game, videos, menu).
A long time ago I found a way to fix the problem (back when I had it bootlegged) but I've since forgotten how to do it, and that was on a vista. I'm running Windows 7 btw.

Any ideas? I've tried running in compatibility mode which doesn't work...

End explorer.exe then run it again when you're done playing. ( Through task manager )

as much as I'd like to pretend to know what exactly that means, I must ask:
are you referring to the explorer task in the task manager? Won't that shut down my desktop (start menu etc?)
I don't understand what you mean.

Run the game, tab out, open task manager, go to processes, click "show all processes", end explorer.exe, tab back into your game. When you're dun, hold the windows key and press R to bring up the run menu, then just type "explorer.exe" and hit enter. All goes well.

It's because the game doesn't work 100% with vista. I have to do it when I play starcraft. Glad it worked.
