    CD/DVD Drive Problem

Alright, I put a CD into my computer's CD/DVD drive, and my computer didn't recognize it and now I can't open it. I searched it on Google, but all I could find were suggestions to jam a paperclip into it. I don't want to do that because I'm afraid it might break the drive. Is there any other way to open it?

All I can suggest is that on some XP models you can take the side off. Take it off and then just find where the CD drive is. From there, find the little latches of either side of the drive, they are small plastic hooks, they keep the slide from sliding out, but you don't need them unless you like to have your CPU hanging upside-down. Just take a screw driver and pop them off, and you should be able to slide the disk slide right out and get your CD. Hope this helped.

Just put a paper clip in the hole that's normally next to the eject button. It wont break it, it's there for that exact reason...
