Use your anti-virus and spyware software to do a full system scan.

Ya, my Norton just expired. And I can't download anything. So ya, I'm kinda screwed.

I'm using a different comp now, but I can't use it forever.

Worst comes to worst, you could always format the drive and start fresh, assuming you have a windows install disk. I'm assuming system restore isn't an option, or you would have tried that already.

I do suggest getting a portable version of an antivirus and bringing it over to the infected computer via a flashdrive, as Xemozu said. I believe Spybot S&D can install onto a flash drive, though I may be mistaken on this count.

Starting up in safe mode is also an option, mind you. I'm no expert on this particular problem, but I don't see why a Safe Mode start wouldn't work.

Try MalwareBytes or Spybot S&D to remove the malicious files. Like Xeno said I'm almost positive that you can install Spybot onto a flash drive, and I think you can put MalwareBytes on a flash drive. If neither work for both then try a disk.

Try Kaspersky AntiVirus, it's a great antivirus the completely delete the virus. Or you can format your computer or just completly erase all of your files by reinstalling your OS.

To be quite honest I would recommend Avira or Avast for antiviruses. Avira has the best detection of viruses out there and it's free.

    Re: jennys back

Pretty much what Tank/Drooling Pacman said, Avira or Avast. Both the set-up files can be put on flashdrive too. Also IMO dont use Malwarebytes, it complete crap IMO, it picks up the infected object right? Then when you try to delete it and you run another scan (after reboot, yes) it picks the same object up over and over again, without even deleting it, so I found malwarebytes very hard get rid of viruses an other infected things, but yeah, SBS&D is a good option, I suggest using that.

    Also my setup is:
    Avira
    SBS&D
    and was Malwarebytes.

I also suggest having another type of software that caters for Spware or/and Adware, which youre most probably infected by mainly because not too many antiviruses pick up Spyware or Adware (well, so Ive been told).
And, reformatting is a great option, although it can be abit time consuming with all the updates and etc. But the bump in speed is always nice

Heres some of the download links, I threw Malwarebytes in there anyway (All free too)

    Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    Spybot S&D: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html

Avira (just click download, yeah, you get redirected to CNET):
    fairly long link, so lol

    Avast!: http://www.avast.com/en-au/free-antivirus-download

    AdAware: http://www.lavasoft.com/single/trialpay.php

    So yeah, hope I helped.
