    Question.

So, I'm getting back into Pivot, but I just want to know, what version of pivot do people use? Is there a new one that I haven't heard of?

    Re: Question.

The two most commonly used versions of Pivot are Pivot 2 and Pivot 3. You can find links for all versions of Pivot in this thread.

    Also, moved to Help/Suggestion Centre.

    Re: Question.

So that would mean that the old rule that Pivot 3 animations wont open in 2.2.5?
If so, I'll just stick with 2.2.5.

It's not really a rule.. but yeah, animations and stick figures created in Pivot 3 won't open in Pivot 2.

    Re: Question.

I recommend Pivot 2, as there are less bugs. However, if you want to use sprites or imported images, you'll need to use Pivot 3.

    Re: Question.

I think Pivot 2 would be better. I tell you if you use Pivot 3 you would have a big problem because sometimes if you don't save your animations a bug can suddenly appear and crash Pivot 3.

    Re: Question.

Pivot 2 is also better for sharing your .stk and .piv files, because when made in pivot 2, they're accepted by any version of pivot. But if you would make .stks and .pivs in Pivot 3, you can only open (and use) them in Pivot 3.
