None really. If you want to become serious about programming and learn something other than html and php, websites aren't really the best resource. There might be a few good websites for learning a few languages, but I've never heard of them.

Read books. Go on Amazon, and find a well rated book about the basics of a programming language you think sounds good. If you don't know which language is good, do some research on the uses of all the big programming languages. Don't even worry that much about which language you learn, since most of the ideas cross over. If you really don't have a clue just do C++, since no one can really say it isn't relevant. Read the book, do the exercises, and work your way from there. Then read more books.

The problem with that approach is it's unlikely to get you anywhere. You might be able to get an internship somewhere small, and you can work your way up. The chances are slim, but the opportunity is there. Obviously the more conventional way to become a programmer is to get a degree in computer science or a graduate math degree from a university. That's a huge commitment, and it doesn't seem like you're ready for that.

What I would suggest is a combination of the two approaches. Read books, learn a programming language, and see if you like it. Programming isn't for everyone, and I know I personally don't think like a good programmer so I didn't consider taking it in school. If you do have a real interest in it once you actually start programming, consider getting a degree in it. That being said, if you want to get a degree in computer science, you better like the shit out of math too. Like, you better love math.

Depends on what language you have in mind. To an extent, if you're motivated enough, you can teach yourself languages like Python and C++ with just the internet and a few books.

However more advanced languages and making more advanced things (games, actual useful applications) would take a bit more effort and a lot more knowledge.

Best person to ask about this would be Adam, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you were to PM him directly. I know he's a wizz with programming and the like.
