"no signal input" on plugged in monitors

There was a storm earlier when i was out of town and we apparently had a power out. So when i got home i tried to turn on my computer but as soon as i did, i got the "no signal input" on my monitors. Everything is plugged in and everything is on and i tried unpluging and replugging everything in but its still not working. Is it my monitors, graphics card, does my computer need to rest? What?

    Posting from my lappy.

Okay first of all leave your PC completely disconnected from the mains for an hour or two.

Buy new cables from your GPU to your Monitor and see if that helps.

If neither works, try replacing your monitor and if that doesn't work it's obviously a gfx card problem.

If your PC was on during the power cut, it may have fried your GPU.

I also noticed that usually when i start up my computer my motherboard usually has 4 LED lights that come on. Only one is on. I looked this up i my manual and it said that this means that the CPU is in a 1 phase power mode. Could this also be part of the problem? Motherboard is the msi 770 - g45

Sounds like the power cut has put the PC into a kinda, hibernation state.

Sadly I'm not 100% with hardware. Try PMing Adam.
