    Laptopl

    My mouse sucks. Help?

My laptop's a HP Pavilion dv5, and both the mousepad, and mouse itself sucks.

Whenever I move left with the mousepad, it goes right. Help?

Get a new mouse. You can get a decent USB mouse for about 5.

USB mice kick ass. Get a cheap laser or spend a bit more on optical.

    1) Right click on the desk top
    2) Select properties.
    3) go to the settings tab
    4) select advanced.
    5) the name of the graphics card (mine was a tab called "GeForce FX 5200")
    6) the side-tab called "NV Rotate"
    7) choose a rotation that will fix the mouse problem. I have mine set to Landscape (0 degree rotation).

This was a solution to a slightly different problem, but try it nonetheless.

It could be a virus also, so try virus-scanning your PC. And try messing around with the mouse settings in the control panel.

Actually yeah, it being a virus could be highly likely. I remember finding a program that "Makes" viruses, and one of the options was inverted mouse, lol.
