    reduce swf file size

I'm trying to flash a collab for another forum and I'm running into some file size trouble. I've only got about 5-6 animations in it already, and the .swf that I saved to test/look at is already 19.5 MB, which strikes me as really big. Testing the preloader takes AGES to get to like, 5%. Can anyone offer any help?
Make this stop. Let this end.

This life chose me. I'm not lost in sin!

    Re: reduce swf file size

That's because you have hundreds of images that make up the animation. Of course it's going to be big. The only way to get it smaller is to fiddle with the compression settings. Try lowering the image quality and stuff like that. Flashing collabs generally does mean large swfs, because it contains all the data.
