    tips on pivot animation

Hey, i just started this, 2-3 days ago, its great! But im having alot of trouble on running. I cant get the motions, i know how a normal person would run, but its hard. Also, making a body part fall off, how do i do that? So walking, running, and... missing body parts. -crazy- Thanks for all your help!

Bahamut's got that covered, I'll tell you about how to make a body part fall off. If you're using a stkman, basicaly all you do is edit it. Click on the arm you want to fall off, and record the stats. (IE: it might have 15 thickness and 37 length. Write it down or remember it.) Now just delete that arm part completley off the body and add it to the animation. Then, make another stk with the stats you recorded. Just add that to the animation. Now you have an armless man and an arm. Eer, a pivot would help right?

Heh, nobody's good at first. It took me about 30 full animations (not little tests and loops) to even start doing a decent job, so it's not unusual to take a while.

Just keep practicing, and check out Fyreal's Master tutorial list, there are tons of good links in there.
