moved to Help Center. Programming/Other is for tutorials, not questions :])

Anyway, from the looks of things, you can't do anything. Its invisionfree, and typically, next to "My controls" would be "Admin CP" but you only have "Mod CP" Without access to admin cp, you're kind of screwed. Unless you're an admin, you cant change the look of the board, sorry :\

Whoever the admin is should obviously add some forums...and possibly make membergroups? It should only take less than 30 minutes to get it set up.

Anyway, about the popular thing...well, it'll be a challenge with invisionfree. The first thing I recommend is get an appealing skin. Another thing, even though it costs money, is buy a domain. having http://z3.invisionfree.com/whatever as your domain name is really, REALLY lame. Nobodies gonna want to look at that site :\ Also, if you can afford it, get rid of the ads. I'd just say buy webspace and host a phpbb forum there, but thats just my opinion (-cool_)

    Good luck

Yes, I'm sorry to say, but apart from buying a real forum with a domain name, there's pretty much nothing you can do to gain popularity. The only invisionfree forum I know of with more than 20 or so members is Pivotlords, and it's still not that popular.

If you can't get any hosting, and you're stuck with invisionfree, the main things you should do are add (or get an admin to if you can't) a better style, and plenty of different sections. If you notice here, we have over 30 different areas to post in.

You could always get a beter looking skin other then the default. Or pick a good subject for a forum and make it unique yeh know.

This is going to be locked. Free forums hardly ever get off the ground if you are wanting to make a forum popular you must be willing to invest.
