    Rectangular blocks appearing on screen

This has started happening regularly to my screen: There's constantly a black/grey/white block that appears on the right side of my screen, and which multiplies when I scroll up and down.

It goes away when I restart, but it's a bit of a hassle to turn off my computer every time I get it. I've searched online and found nothing about it, so does anyone know the cause of the problem/how to fix it?

In all honesty, the picture you shown doesn't show any obvious anomalies to me. My best bet is that it has to do with your graphic card or your driver. You should disable your graphic card to see if that's the problem. This can be in device manager (in the control panel).
