    NVidia 9800 GT Problem

I don't know whether this should be in this section, so feel free to move it.

Anyway, about a month ago, I was trying to play Dead Space on my computer, and it pretty much destroyed my video card.

    I have a Packard Bell iPower X9810,
    Windows 7 32 bit
    4gb RAM
    Quad Core
    And obviously, the 9800GT.

I sent it into PC World, who 'repaired it', but now I get a display driver crash or a blue screen whenever I try to play any graphically heavy games (ArmA 2, Far Cry 2, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising), but games like Battlefield 2 and the Sims 2 run perfectly, as well as Minecraft.

I sent it into PC World again, and they said that after rigorous testing to see how well the graphics card ran, there was 'no fault, or no apparent fault'.

I'm completely lost now, as PC World / Techguys apparently don't replace graphics cards. I got it back again today, with them saying it should be fine, but I tried ArmA, and it just froze, and Far Cry 2 stopped responding. I can still play Battlefield 2 and the Sims, but nothing else runs at all. Is there anything I can do? (Apart from buying a new graphics card, 'cause I'm really strapped for cash)

Did you try updating your drivers?

Might seem a bit obvious, I'm not that much into hardware

    Sounds like a conundrum!

This might sound kind of stupid but have you tried googling it? I often find that googling around the subject helps me to solve problems such as this.

To be honest I haven't, but googling hasn't solved many of my problems in the past couple of months. I think I'll take it in tomorrow and demand they replace the card.
