    IE9 Looks like IE7?

Okay sorry to bother you guys again with another issue, but here:

    NOTE. COPIED OFF OF SEVENFORUMS.COM

    Okay.

So after following the steps given to me from DellMekh on my previous IE9 Topic (link below)
http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-u...r-windows.html, I was able to install IE9. But the logo for IE7 and the taskbars at the top still look the same as IE7. Is this supposed to happen? Or is IE9 not installed properly? And it performs 100x faster like IE9 would.

    Regards,
    ~TPS

    Re: IE9 Looks like IE7?

As most people on this site would probably say, is to just switch to a whole other browser. Internet Explorer is known to be incredibly slow compared to Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Besides that, does Explorer have a lot less customization options that most browsers.

You can legally and easily download either Chrome or Firefox (or Opera), just by using Google.

In answer to your question though, IE9 is supposed to look different than IE7, perhaps you didn't upgrade it right or you just did a whole new install and you're still using the IE7 shortcut.
