    You tube ownership problems

    Hi

    just a quick question i have uploaded a video to you tube and went to monetise it but i got an email a day later saying that i may not own copywright just wonder if anyone else had this when uploading thier animations?

    Does the video contain audio? If so, is the audio/music yours? If it isn't they may have a copyright issue.

    Basically reiterating what Krusty said.

    If you used audio from a song that isn't yours, chances are that YouTube won't allow you to monetize it since it isn't your property. It's not the animation itself, it's the music. If you want to monetize your animations, use music that isn't protected under copyright and intellectual property.
