    NINTENDO DS PROBLEM

I don't know whether to post this in the gaming section or not.

Now then, yesterday I dropped my DS less than a metre to the wood floor while it was off. Now, when I flick the power switch, the light comes on but nothing happens on the screen.

I have a warranty but I don't feel like sending it away. Did this ever happen to any of you guys?

Also, I'm leaving it on and letting the battery run completely dead, then I'll charge it fully, then turn it on to see if it works.

    Cross yo' fingaz foolz.

I'd get a new one anyways just to make sure it isn't seriously broken.

Did you try taking any games that were in it out, or putting a different game in? maybe if you had one in there it got jammed and it's messing something up.
If that and the battery thing don't work, you should really consider sending it back, it's better to pay $5.00 shipping and lose it for a week then to spend $120 on a new one

Almost similar thing happened to me like 2 years ago when i accidentally dropped my Game boy Advance sp upstairs and the screen was fucked after that.
I cried like 2 hours and finally i send it to repair.

Well guys I went to the store and got my DS replaced and it works so far. At least I tried to fix it myself before resorting to the last measure: Just tell the lady that I never dropped it. :P
