    Re: Best Book

It's tough to put them in front of one another... But...

The Da Vinci Code - Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. Because of the sheer amount of research that had gone into either book. I really enjoyed both of them, they are realistic and powerful. It's a shame the movies were so terrible :\
Darren Shan's Demonta series. They are inventive, gory and generally really fun. Darren seems to show a unique voice to which no other writer can achieve. He just needs to work on making non-predictable story lines (well, IMO they are predictable...).
And lastly, Space Captain Smith! It's like Serenity, but British and with 40k references. It's exciting, fairly fast paced and hilarious. The characters are fairly stereotypical, there's a sex-obsessed cybot, a honourable hunter and your classic clueless leader. But together (and along with their pilot-gerbil) they make a very fun cast who have enjoyable adventures and stop the British empire from being taken over by the "Ghast" and evil and emotionless race of man-sized ants.

    Re: Best Book

This is realy similiar to Plan B's favorite series thread, but whatever.

My favorite books are all of the Cherub Books.. favorite of them would probably be The REcruit, Class A and Mad Dogs.
