People who live in the city can be victim to MASSIVE amounts of pressure, for multiple reasons. The suicide rate for the population of people who live in busy cities is a shit load higher because people can't cope with the pressure.

People who live in the city (and are alive) are far from wimps, if anything, you're a wimp for taking the easy (well.. Farming isn't easy, but the direction you're coming from...) way out.

Get stabbed then try and tell me the same thing.

Chances are you could semi-protect yourself from the wolf/dog "things" and escape with a few minor injuries, such as cuts or scrapes.

If someone sunk a 3.5 inch stanley knife into your body and it slit an artery, you're fucked unless you can get to a hospital quick. And even then you could still die.

And there are dangers wherever you go. On a farm however, unless you manage to get in the way of a combine harvester, chances are you're more safe than if you were to live in a city.

I've been nice for the past few days and I think I'm doing pretty good. Don't piss me off.

    Re: Farming

I find farming to be tedious, it builds a small amount of character, but in a world where physical labour is becoming increasingly devalued, it would be much more productive to go to a city and work a 9-5 shift.

Haha, I'd want to try farming. I'd love to experience the hardwork they do. It sounds really fun. No computer and stuff.

    (I'm not being sarcastic)

    Re: Farming

Chimeara, I do physical work, i'm a tradesman/apprentice. I've done carpentry and mechanics, and they're calling for these more than pen-pushers.

The only reason that there are more pen pushers is because people see it as an easy way to get money, and prefer not to exert their lazy arses.
