    FileZilla - uploading 0kb files

I'm installing CuteNews for my work in progress website, though some files contain nothing and are 0kb in filesize. These files are necessary for CuteNews, plus I've had this problem before with 0kb files, I couldn't find a solution other than to put spaces in the files. I'd really rather leave them as they are. Filezilla just times out when uploading them, as does the Byethost online FTP tool.

    Any help with this?

    Could possibly be corrupt files.

If not, if these files contain nothing, and your positive NOTHING resides in them. There is a feature to create new files with byethost, just name them with the 0kb files name and save them to the directory.

Insert a comment in these 0kb files.

Yeah, some of them were .txt files so I wasn't sure if I should just use spaces. It doesn't matter now though, I did what Veng3anc3 said and created them in the Byethost FTP utility. Thanks you two.
