    Site problems

    Okay, i set up a website, and a forum along with it.
    But i have a problem, when i go into the forum everythings fine, but when i log in, it says

    Code:
    Not Found
    The requested URL /forum/index.php was not found on this server.
    
    Apache/1.3.39 Server at co.cc Port 80
    Does anyone know how to fix it.

    404 means it doesn't exist, look through your FTP and see if there is an index.php file, if there isn't then you may want to look through your forum engine's manual for help on acquiring it manually.

    Its definantly there, i even manually imported it, and now i cant get into the acp either, because the index.php file isnt found there. I reinstalled php and it didnt work so i'm stuck.

    Did you install it properly, and CHMOD any necessary files?

    yeah pretty sure i did. I'll keep trying, i might even uninstall it then try again if needed.

    It won't be a CHMOD issue, you've either got the wrong path or something is wrong server side, i.e .htaccess file making wrong redirects.

    I fixed it now, i reinstalled phpbb3, dont lock this topic though, incase i need more help with other parts of the site.

    EDIT: got my next question, is it possible to rename the usergroups administrators, Global moderators and Registered users.

    Also how do you set up file upload.

    To the first part, no. You'll have to make new groups and set the same permissions.

    As for the second, it's under board features. Turn attachments on. Then go to Attachment Settings.

    Well i didnt mean like attachments, I ment something on the site that will let you upload files, like the way that vip's can upload their own rank bar, and how dd pimp members can upload files.
