    Heartman Dev Log

So I am participating in a 3 day flashpunk game competition. I have to make a game this weekend with these rules:
    96x96 Resolution
Must make use of flash punks theme(hearts, cogs, pink and black color scheme)
    Reasonable file size

I created this log to keep me motivated as I work and I thought I could just share it with everyone.
You can find the log here:

Its going to be a small platformer/puzzle game where Heartman must rescue his fellow hearts from the evil cogs. Thanks Adam for reminding me of miniclip.com which is where I got some inspiration from.

I don't see the point in sharing this.

Prepare yourself for my mindblowing pixel art.

Just realized paint isn't saving it as transparent...

This looks interesting, I'm eager to see the outcome. I fixed the transparency on the pixel art for you, btw.

^Thanks. I'll have to download paint.net so I can make some edits to it.
    Got a lot done today.
    Working Camera(sort of)
Phyisics acting the way they should
    XML Level parser
    Player animation and movement
I feel good, still got a long way to go. Probably going to have to go into crunch time, its a curse Going to finish up the object part of the parser then go to sleep.

I'm sure the competition is over, but I'd like to know what happened to it. Did you abort the competition? Oh and I know, it's a bump.

    Re: Heartman Dev Log

Some stuff with my mom happened the Sunday I was supposed to finish. Although I like what I was doing so much that I decided to work on a full scale version but due to doctor stuff I haven't had much time to work on it[All I got is basic physics and surface physics so far]. I will be making a topic with my two projects[Unnamed card game my mother showed me a few weeks ago is the second project] sometime in mid January when all my stuff is done with. Heartman 2.0s source will be available but the card game I will keep to myself.
